TIna Westcott ARPS

A passionate outdoor photographer living on the edge of Mendip overlooking the Somerset Levels, I love exploring the natural world with a geographer’s eye either at home or on my travels.  Always excited by what may lie around the next corner I am drawn to changing light, colour, pattern and close up detail, depicting scenes, often in an abstract way.

I enjoy working in projects and was awarded an Associateship of the Royal Photographic Society in 2021 with a landscape project entitled “Nature’s Reclamation of the Disused Quarries of Mendip”. Recent and current projects include:

“Flux” showing intimate landscape scenes from the River Parrett estuary, its mudflats and salt marsh as they respond to changing tide and light.

“Ash Die Back - A Community Response”. Often not pretty, I aimed to show how this fungal disease is affecting our Mendip hedgerows and woodlands and how it is being managed and responded to in my village

Images from these and other projects featured in a recent successful exhibition at the Wells Museum, Somerset and at Somerset Open Studios 2025 with a further exhibition planned for Spring 2026 in the Wells Cathedral Crypt.

Please get in touch if you see something you like. It would be nice to hear from you.

My work is available to buy and I can supply prints up to A3 plus size and greetings cards.
